On June 9th and 10th, 2022, SafeRock attended the 2022 IGDS Department Store Summit hosted by Nordstrom. The IGDS (International Group of Department Stores), an association of 43 leading department stores, met with (pictured above from left to right) Doneger Group CEO Abbey Doneger, Woolworth Holdings Honorary President Simon Susman, SafeRock CEO Shah Karim, KaDeWe Group CEO Andre Maeder, and various other leaders of distinguished global corporations to discuss the opportunities and risks that are arising from a new and technologically-transformed retail industry. The participants shared ideas stemming from their business models to tackle supply chain and distribution issues, strengthen customer communication, and identify methods to balance e-commerce and brick-and-mortar operations. The purpose of the meeting was to work toward improving the shopping experience to reap the benefits as the retail industry innovates.
