Carve-out of a separate company from the rest of the business portfolio within a major chemical business entity realigning the business and resources to better serve multi-national CPGs and generate cash.

 

Approach

Selected resources, peoples, assets and technologies, customers  to be carved out of the larger portfolio.

Modified and streamlined all operational processes, products, supply chain,  markets, people, assets, R&D, technology, SAP and all accounting systems.

 

Result

Sold the newly created separate business entity for 10x multiple another separate business entity from the client’s portfolio for 8x multiple contributing $2B in cash.
