SafeRock hosts State Roundtable Discussion on Energy Transition

SafeRock recently hosted a new thought leadership roundtable discussion under Chatham House Rules bringing together leading public and private companies with high interest in energy. The topic discussed was “How to get the New Economy working: Thought Leadership & Policy Discussion”, with a representative from the US Department of State setting the tone for discussion. This is part of a US government effort to dialogue with trading partners and emerging markets countries on joint efforts to find affordable and non-disruptive ways to assure significant reductions in emissions of methane, CO2, and other lethal substances. These include finding more scientific measures of these emissions; paths to higher electricity generation by securing reliability, resilience, and redundancy in cleaner fuel resources; and broadening access to critical minerals. It also involves ways to assure that carbon is properly priced and that hydrogen markets can become more transparent so as to facilitate the acceleration of development and trade.

If you would like to be considered to participate in one of our future roundtable discussions, please let us know by emailing Mavi Miller at mavi@saferock.com.
