SafeRock hosts State Roundtable Discussion on Critical Minerals & Supply Chain

SafeRock recently hosted the second thought leadership roundtable discussion under Chatham House Rules bringing together leading public and private companies to discuss critical minerals and the supply chain. This Thought Leadership roundtable is part of a continuing dialogue with sector-specific companies, trading partners and emerging markets countries. A summary of our previous roundtable discussion where we discussed energy transition can be found here.

As usual,  the discussion was led by a representative from the US Department of State setting the tone for discussion. This is part of a US government effort to dialogue with trading partners and emerging markets countries to discuss policy & operations, financial markets, and supply chain challenges surrounding critical minerals. The challenges include global supply chains, policy and fiduciary responsibility, financial, and supply chain decisions. We discussed these topics along with capital allocation and business risks. This will serve as a template for discussions on scarce resources and critical minerals such as copper, aluminum, cobalt and others.

If you would like to be considered to participate in one of our future roundtable discussions, please let us know by emailing Mavi Miller at mavi@saferock.com.
